These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Stash-it, a cloud storage service operated by Fingerprints Creative Private Limited ("Fingerprints Creative", "we", "us", or "our"). Stash-it is a product brand of Fingerprints Creative Private Limited, a company incorporated in India. By creating a Stash-it account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the service.
Beta Programme Notice: You are using an early access version of Stash-it. The product is not yet at full commercial release. Features, pricing, storage allocations, and these Terms may change before public launch. By participating, you acknowledge this and agree to provide feedback to help us improve the product.
Stash-it is a cloud-based file storage service that allows users to upload, organise, manage, and retrieve files. All files are stored in Vault, Stash-it's deep archive storage tier. Key characteristics:
Stash-it is intended for personal use. It is designed for creators, designers, agencies, podcasters, and others who manage large volumes of files over time.
During the beta period, Stash-it grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for personal testing and feedback purposes. Beta access is provided at no charge.
Beta accounts are subject to the following limits:
We do not guarantee that the service will be available continuously, without interruption, or error-free during the beta period. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
We will provide at least 14 days' notice before the beta period ends. Before the end of the beta, you are responsible for downloading any files you wish to retain. We are not liable for data that is deleted following the end of the beta period.
You may use Stash-it to store, organise, and retrieve files for lawful personal or small team purposes.
You must not use Stash-it to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in breach of these acceptable use provisions, without prior notice.
You retain full ownership of all files you upload to Stash-it. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights in your files to us.
By uploading files to Stash-it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and deliver your files solely as necessary to provide the service to you. We do not read, scan, analyse, or use the content of your files for any other purpose.
You are solely responsible for the files you upload. You confirm that you have the necessary rights or permissions for any content you store on Stash-it and that your content does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
We reserve the right to remove any content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice. We will attempt to notify you after removal where possible.
Your account is assigned a storage allocation as specified in your plan (or, during beta, as specified in your beta access confirmation). Exceeding your storage quota may result in uploads being blocked until storage is freed.
Each plan includes a monthly download allowance (during beta: 20 GB per month). Downloads beyond this allowance may incur overage charges of $0.20 per GB, applied at the rates shown in your dashboard. During the beta, overages may be handled differently, as communicated to you at the time.
All files are stored in Vault and are subject to a retrieval time of up to 48 hours. This is a technical characteristic of the storage tier and cannot be reduced or bypassed. Stash-it always displays the current storage tier of a file before a retrieval is initiated. By requesting a retrieval, you confirm that you have seen and accepted the up to 48-hour wait.
During the beta period, Stash-it is provided free of charge. By joining the beta, you are not entering into any paid subscription. If and when paid plans are introduced, you will be given clear notice of pricing before any charges are applied and will have the opportunity to opt in or out.
Stash-it aims to provide a reliable service but makes no warranty of continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free availability, particularly during the beta period. We reserve the right to perform maintenance that may temporarily affect access, and we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable.
The Stash-it name, logo, product design, and all associated software are the intellectual property of Fingerprints Creative Private Limited. Stash-it is a registered brand of Fingerprints Creative Private Limited. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, branding, or product elements outside of your normal use of the service.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" during the beta period. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stash-it disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be free of errors, secure from all threats, or that any data loss will not occur.
You are strongly encouraged to maintain independent backups of important files during the beta period.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stash-it's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to Stash-it in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) $0 if the service was provided free of charge.
Stash-it shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, or loss of business, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stash-it and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your files and content, or your breach of these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your files will be removed within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive behaviour, or are using the service in a way that harms others or our infrastructure. We will attempt to notify you unless the circumstances make this impractical.
Upon termination, your licence to use the service ends immediately. Files and data associated with your account will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time, particularly as Stash-it moves from beta to full launch. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. If you are based in the EU or UK, nothing in this clause limits your rights under applicable mandatory consumer protection law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remainder of these Terms will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Stash-it regarding your use of the service and supersede all prior discussions, representations, or agreements.
